Dr Shakir Nagree Retirement from General Practice
Dr Nagree has finally decided to retire from General Practice on 30th June 2026. He has been working as a GP in Australia for more than 3 decades and is well known in the community. Graduated in 1967, with vast experience in all aspects of General Practice, he served the community with the same enthusiasm thoughout his long carrier. He was well loved by the staff and his clients and he will be missed by the community and we wish him well in his retirement.

Specialist Services : Geriatricians ,Psychology and Physiotherapy onsite
Dr Mayura Iddagoda and Dr Dilan Siriwardena are available to offer Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments for patients in the area over the age of 65. Patients with complex, age-related medical conditions may benefit from an assessment to obtain specialist input and advice. Most eligible clients are bulk-billed , with no out-of-pocket fees. Patients without Medicare, but who have private health insurance may claim a rebate through their health fund. Please contact the Carousel Medical Centre to request a quote. A gap fee is applicable for patients under 65 year old.

Our aim is to provide very high standard of Medical Care for our clients with minimal out of pocket expences. All the standard consultations and care plans are bulk billed from 01 Nov 2025. Most of the procedures may require a nominal out of pocket gap fee to cover the costs, as they are not included in the current arrangements.
